‘Beyond The Bean’ Story

‘Beyond The Bean’ was born from a simple yet deeply personal gap.

While working overseas, I developed a strong appreciation for continental cuisine. However, as a vegetarian, I often found myself limited—most spaces that offered global flavours were heavily non-vegetarian, and truly inclusive, full-scale vegetarian continental experiences were rare. Even after returning to India, the challenge remained the same.

What began as a personal inconvenience soon became a clear realization:

there was space for something thoughtful, refined, and entirely vegetarian—without compromise.

With encouragement and support from my friend and partner, Mr. Veerendra Sadakshri, this idea found its home at the entrance of Ramanashree California Resort—set along the vibrant Doddabalapur Main Road at the corner of Ananthapura Gate, Yelahanka, Bangalore.

But ‘Beyond The Bean’ is not just about the food—it is about the experience of the luxury and ambiance of the space itself.

The restaurant unfolds in three distinct settings, each designed for a different mood.

At the front lies an open garden, where flowing water, lush greens, and glimpses of the passing street create a relaxed, lively atmosphere—perfect for casual conversations and unhurried moments. This space is also pet-friendly, welcoming guests who enjoy dining alongside their furry companions, making it as warm and inclusive as it is vibrant.

Step inside, and the space transforms into a refined, air-conditioned setting—earthy in design, yet highly sophisticated in detail—crafted for families and those seeking comfort with elegance.

Towards the back al fresco section, the experience becomes quieter, more immersive. Surrounded by native trees that have stood here for decades, this space features a tranquil pond with aquatic plants and fishes, creating a sense of stillness that invites you to slow down, observe, and simply be.

The menu travels across continents, bringing together global flavours through a purely vegetarian lens. Every dish is thoughtfully curated for those who appreciate nuance, balance, and depth in their food.

Guided by the expertise of Chef Subroto Goswami and his associates, his experience across renowned international hospitality brands such as Oberoi, Intercontinental and Sterling etc. reflects in every plate that is served to our discerning guests.

It is a vegetarian continental all day dining Restaurant with Café, offering varieties of Brews & Eggless Baking. We offer  Continental, Mediterranean and Asian dishes that go well with the Indian palette. We serve a variety of hot and cold brews along with the likes of pastas, pizzas, speciality breads, salads and Asian preparations. Furthermore, an extensive bakery setup will cater to those confectionary and sweet cravings. We offer our signature desserts, those are absolutely unique in taste, flavour and presentation.

The space is a combination of an enclosed and a semi open area with an earthy design element. The al fresco section is surrounded by abundant natural greenery and water bodies. Our front section is a PET FRIENDLY area. It offers ample parking for guests along with valet service to make your visit hassle free.
